Amsterdam is the capital city of the Netherlands, located on the coastline of the North Sea. This city has origins tracing back to the 12th century, thus having hundreds of years worth of history to see in the city. There are ample museums, attractions, and events to visit in Amsterdam. The city nightlife and cuisine is excellent as well. The city is lined with canals that go along the streets and is filled with both modern and classical architcture.
